Do Not Sell
Do Not Sell or Share My Info
Last updated: 2026-08-01
The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information comes from California’s CCPA/CPRA and from similar laws in a growing number of US states. This page covers how it works here.
Defining the Terms
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never have. What can happen is narrower: where advertising is served on this site, advertising cookies and device identifiers may be made available to advertising partners. The statutory definitions of ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ are wide enough to capture that arrangement, so we treat it as opt-out-able rather than argue about the label.
- Every visitor to roadtripkin.com can exercise this, regardless of whether they have ever given us an email address.
What Follows
Opting out affects personalisation only. Ads may still be shown, selected without your data. We do not restrict, downgrade, or charge differently for the site on account of an opt-out — that would be unlawful.
Your Opt-Out Options
Pick a route. Global Privacy Control in your browser is honoured automatically by this site — that alone is sufficient. Otherwise use the cookie consent banner where it appears, or email hello@roadtripkin.com, subject ‘Do Not Sell or Share’. An account is never required to opt out.
For the wider set of state-law rights — access, correction, deletion, portability — see the State Privacy Notice.
